Cluster hotels The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan and JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta are presenting new ideas for hotel dining experience.


When one thinks of a 5-star dining experience at hotel, we tend to think of a fancy and lavish atmosphere with properly plated dishes. Who could ever guess that it’s possible to reinvent childhood experience and home-cooked meal to 5-star restaurant?

With that idea in mind, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan and JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta worked with Alun Alun Jakarta and Pagi Sore restaurant respectively to bring street food bazaar and authentic Minangkabau cuisine for their Ramadan season dining. As a one-stop Ramadan experience, they serve big iftar feast, hampers, and ngabuburit activities that suits families, business colleagues, and groups.

Under the title “Ramadan Street Bazaar with Alun Alun Indonesia”, the hotel will present sumptuous local delicacies ranging from satay, kebuli rice, martabak, siomay, tumpeng, bir pletok, and many others. The dishes are presented as big buffet at two of their renowned restaurants: Lobo Restaurant and Asia Restaurant. The whole dining experience is available at IDR 388,000 ++ per pax on Monday-Thursday and IDR 468,000 ++ on Friday-Sunday. A range of hamper selection and ngabuburit activities are also available to book.

Nusantara Palate at JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta

Demands for Nusantara cuisine peaks during Ramadan season, and now guests may try the whole experience starting from IDR 380,000+++ per pax at Sailendra Restaurant. Executive Sous Chef Heri Purnama created a special menu with renowned Padang restaurant Pagi Sore. A range of juicy Minangkabau dishes in the likes of rendang, dendeng batokok, and gulai otak will meet Sailendra’s signature ikan bakar bambu, nasi campur rembiga, and bubur kampiun for the first time. Big groups are open to join their Ramadan Night Market, where 26 function rooms are available to book; complete with Layar Tancep experience and live Marawis music.
