Dior Makeup led the new shift in beauty scene from matte to glossy lipstick with their new Dior Addict Stellar Shine campaign.

Taglined “Be Dior Be Pink”, Dior Makeup worked with iconic face Cara Delevingne to introduce their new lipstick line: Dior Addict Stellar Shine. After holding launching parties in Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai, the lipsticks finally arrived in Indonesia in late April.

HighEnd is lucky enough to be one of the first to try on the luminous lip colors. Unlike in many of their previous beauty campaign, Dior Makeup tried on bolder and younger shades of pink for the young-at-heart. Is it worth the hype? We reviewed the lipstick below:

AT A GLANCE

Dior Addict Stellar Shine lipstick collection consists of 24 hues. Despite the name, the color palette ranges from nudes, corals, roses, to plums. The 24 hues are separated into several luminous effects: the pure luminous Glazed (16 shades), the glittery shine Sparkle (4 shades), and bold with metallic radiance Mirror (4 shades).

WHEN WE TRIED THEM

When we apply it, it slides through our lips just like a lip balm. It certainly is a good therapy for the lips since it affords us with day-long hydration with its combination of aloe vera, oils, and waxes. It instantly gives a natural, plump, high-shine look every Korean beauty enthusiast strives for.

WHAT MAKES IT ADDICTIVE

The collection is truly multi-purpose. For example, you can actually wear your matte lipstick and add your Dior Addict Stellar Shine to give them extra nutritious shine. Don’t worry, we already tried it and the result was striking. You can also opt for Glazed shades for daily wear or Mirror and Sparkle shades for evening soirees.
