Rinaldy A. Yunardi, Indonesia-based accessories designer, is wobbling the high ground again. Few months back, he crafted a pair of beautiful boots for Katy Perry on her music video Chained to the Rhythm. Not long before, he and his younger colleague Tex Saverio polished the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with their fantastic shoulder pieces. His collections are internationally recognized—to be honest it is hard not to recognize his bizarre design at a glance.

Recently, the self-aspired designer found out that his mixed-material mask detailed in pearl and Swarovski is worn by American pop star Nicki Minaj on her latest music video No Frauds.  Yunardi admitted he was surprised to discover that fact, since his client did not mention to whom his design is crafted for. Fortunately the surprise works really well. Congratulations, Mr. Yunardi.

Rinaldy A. Yunardi or Koh Yungyung has been designing accessories since 1996. Despite never taking any formal design lesson, he is considered as one of the most prominent accessories designers in Indonesia. He is known for his surrealist and futuristic designs that are mostly inspired by what he perceives in daily basis. Other than accessories and clutches, Yunardi also designed interior furniture.
