Michael Kors Meluncurkan Tas Ikonis untuk Kedua Kalinya, The Astor Bag

Pertama kali diperkenalkan pada tahun 2004, The Astor Bag dirancang sebagai penghormatan kepada Astor Place di New York City, rumah dari restoran legendaris Indochine dan The Public Theatre, tempat pertunjukan broadway ternama, seperti Hamilton, A Chorus Line, dan The Normal Heart, ditayangkan untuk pertama kalinya.

“The Astor Place subway station, with its powerful cube sculpture by Tony Rosenthal, is the dividing line between Greenwich Village and the East Village, two of my favorite New York neighborhoods,” ujar Michael Kors. “The Astor bag itself will be turning 20 very soon. And the sporty glamor that exemplified the early Aughties seems incredibly relevant to how we live and dress today”, ungkap sang direktur kreatif.

Gambaran garis yang clean pada tas Astor dan pengerjaan kulit yang mewah mendefinisikan gaya khas polished uptown. Sementara, stud hardware menampilkan sisi khas downtown edgy-chic dari tas tersebut.
