For the first time ever, local brand The Executive partners up with Tim Indonesia to create uniforms the team will wear for the 2018 Asian Games.
The goal of the partnership is to provide support for our fellow Indonesian athletes for the upcoming Asian Games and to inspire the future of Indonesia’s youth to represent their country on international stage.
Erick Thohir, Head of Indonesia Olympiad Committee and the Executive Committee of Asian Games 2018, expresses that the partnership is to appreciate the effort shown by the athletes of Indonesia and to gather the support from the masses.
The uniforms represent the colors of the Indonesian flag and its values. There are batik prints within the pockets to create a blend of modernity and traditionality. The batik is used as pocket handkerchief for male athletes and scarf for the female counterparts. The blood-red blazer is paired with white cigarette trousers with red lining accent in each side, creating a sense of formal chic.
Six athletes from the Indonesian team were chosen to be the faces of the partnership, namely Pungky Afriecia (volleyball athlete), Diananda Choirunisa (archer), I Gede Aima Sudartawa (swimmer), Eko Yuli Irawan (weightlifter), Arki Wisnu (basketball player), and Raphael Maitimo (soccer player). They presented the uniforms for the first time ever during Press Conference (26/07).
