Through three-day event TAIWAN EXPO which lasted from 29-31 March 2018 and delegation visit to MNC Group, the East Asian economic giant overlooked business partnership with Indonesia.
Held in Hall A & B of Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Jakarta, the TAIWAN EXPO 2018 provided almost 5,000 selected products and services from Taiwan. The event is a monumental milestone for both countries following the latest bilateral trading policy settled by countries in the southern part of Taiwan, including Indonesia.
The second-time TAIWAN EXPO was launched by the Chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Mr. James C. F. Huang, Ambassador John C. Chen, and Vice Chairman Commission IV of Legislative Bodies Daniel Johan. This time, the exhibition looks towards the future with smart apps, green technology, medical services, and farming innovations.

Other than the open-for-public expo, TAIWAN EXPO also includes Trading and Medical Transportation Technology forums, Taiwanese Zumbafest, theatrical performance from Teater Pili, and travel fair.
Company Visit with Mr. Hary Tanoesoedibjo
Along with TAIWAN EXPO, the delegations including Mr. Huang and Mr. Chen also visited MNC News Center for a Company Visit with MNC Group Chairman Mr. Hary Tanoesoedibjo. The visit aims to sign a friendly trading deal between Taiwan and Indonesia’s business groups.
