Seeing Clearer at Ritz Carlton

The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan added yet another replenishment in their leisure line with Opulence Optic Collection.


Located inside the hotel’s Gift Shop, the Opulent Optic Collection showcased and sell luxury eyewear from high brands such as Prada, Bvlgari, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and many others.

The new installment is the fruit of collaboration between the Ritz-Carlton, Paris-based optical retail VisionHub, and EssilorLuxottica’s local partner, Optik Seis. Unlike many optical studios, the store is committed to deliver each order within 24 hours, when the order is being placed anytime between Monday through Friday. Guests can also take their new eyewear home as long as it’s available in the store. This system works for all non-prescription eyewear, while the customization for prescription glasses may vary regarding the availability of the products.

The store also installs the first and so far the only Virtual Try-On Technology machine in Indonesia. The smart machine is allowing guests to try-on every product on their face via real-time digital projection. They also process physical information and prescription data to recommend the most suited eyewear for the buyers via Style Recommendation option.

About this technology, the Cluster Director of Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan and JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta, Adeza Hamzah, stated, “Entering the digital era, we are always excited to make our hotel the first hotel which puts forward a digitalized and enhanced experience to our guests."

The store was officially launched in early April 2019. The launching party hosts the guests with high tea and a fashion show that showcased some of their best collection.
