With her warm and approachable demeanor, it is no wonder Putri Marino manages to win the hearts of everyone she comes in contact with. The award-winning actress opens up to HighEnd for the first time.

Looking nothing like someone who just had a child a couple of months ago, Putri Marino arrived at the photo shoot in good spirits, looking fresh and amazingly in shape with her little baby in tow. The proud new mother’s on a break from acting at the moment, but plans to go back to making movies in 2019.

Her journey in the entertainment industry started when she decided to get out of her comfort zone, quitting her day job as a Junior Fashion Designer in Bali and flying to Jakarta. Not long after, an offer came her way from a movie titled Posesif. Long story short, Posesif was the very movie that gave her a Best Actress award (Piala Citra) from Festival Film Indonesia 2017, on her first acting job, no less.

Now that Putri has acted in several movies, HighEnd has to ask one question, is acting truly her calling? There is no doubt in her eyes when she said yes, with great confidence. “I’ve fallen in love with acting, big time. This is a new world for me where every detail inside it challenges me. Every movie I have completed gave me this high level of satisfaction I can’t describe, as well as that drive to explore another and thirst for a new experience. Okay, what’s next for me?”

The year 2018 has given many blessings for Putri Marino. She tied the knot with the love of her life Chicco Jerikho, and gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, Surinala Carolina Jarumilind. When being asked about her plan for year-end celebration, she answered, “I’m the type of person who likes to stay in during the New Years, especially since this is the first New Year for the three of us together, it’s nice to have a quiet quality time where we can just relax and unwind.”
