Luxe Trip with HighEnd: Part 2

The latest luxury cruise trip is HighEnd’s second edition of the Luxe Trip following the inaugural trip in November 2018.The Luxe Trip is designed to dazzle and awe its participants befitting of their status as accomplished entrepreneurs.


The trip began as they stepped in Singapore Airline’s plane; one of the world’s best airline. The ladies were given a warm welcome from the dazzling air stewardess in the business class cabin. Before their high seas adventure begins, the socialites stepped into the world of high fashion at the Louis Vuitton (LV) Island Maison located in a spectacular crystal pavilion floating on the waterfront of Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

The socialites then adjourned for the ultimate vibe-dining dinner experience with a spectacular view at LAVO, located at the rooftop of MBS. Situated at 57 stories aboveground, LAVO offersa 180-degree view of Singapore’s spectacular skyline, alongside delicious Italian-American cuisine and electrifying music. As the night drew to a close, participants checked into Genting Dream Cruise at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre. One of the key highlights on board the Genting Dream Cruise is the experience of a glamour photo shoot on high seas.

Boarding the magnificent 3,352 passenger–capacity luxury cruise ship, the group of socialites experienced an unforgettable journey of first class services. The socialites were all decked in The Palace suits, ‘a-ship-within-a-ship’ private enclave with one of the best suites that Dream Cruises has to offer on board Genting Dream.

The itinerary for day two in the cruise started with a photo shoot, in a few exclusive areas of the cruise. The beauty shots feature all the glamorous entrepreneurs, were shot by Sweet Escape, Matthew, glammed by Philip Kwok and Duwi, using Cle de Peau, and styled in Michelle Alphonsa ,Monica Ivena, and Andreas Odang, complete with the brilliant jewellery by Adelle Jewellery that will grace in HighEnd’s April’s issue.

The socialites also gathered for high tea at the Palm Court–a panoramic spot to unwind with a cup of fine tea and coffee with specially prepared desserts and snack from Genting Dream’s award-winning chefs.  For their last dinner, the socialites enjoyed their meal at the Vintage Room, a discreet, private dining room that served an exceptional menu, masterfully paired with wine, also created especially for them. The cruise captainwas also there for catching up with the ladies.

Once back in Singapore, the socialites commenced their shopping spree with a visit to Design Orchard, the latest gem along Orchard Road, the iconic premier shopping belt. The new two-and-a-half storey enclave houses over 60 homegrown brands and is perfect for trend-setters looking for authentic and unique brands to complete their visit to Singapore.

More gastronomy adventures await after the shopping spree as the socialites made a short hop over to CHIJMES, a former Catholic convent that has been transformed into a multi-purpose entertainment spacethat isrecently featured in the hit movie Crazy Rich Asians. Dinner was set in Mezza 9 at Hyatt Hotel with an absolute treat serving mouth-watering delicacies, complemented with top-class pleasant ambience. The eventful night concluded with cocktails at yet another lovely rooftop bar, Ce La Vi with breath-taking 360-degree view of Singapore’s skyline.

Lunch at Halia on the last day of the trip capped off a memorable trip to Singapore. The restaurant is inthe Ginger Garden within the Singapore Botanic Gardens and diners are treated to the wonderful sight of stunning foliage and colourful flowers of over 250 species of gingers, surrounded by decades-old majestic palm trees that stood like sentries.
