A mother of five, a grandmother of two, a careerwoman, and most of all, an inspirational figure... Liliana Tanoesoedibjo is the epitome of success. She shares to us her self-taught, multiple roles as media mogul, fashion-forward maven, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and beyond.

Before the success, there is always a wondrous story of the journey towards it. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo’s effort of finding success has started early in her young age. The one virtue that she has always been blessed is her willingness to be better.

She admits that she grew up battling her lack of self-confidence. This never stopped her to achieve what she thinks is best for her and the people around her, nevertheless. She is a rare kind of person who wouldn’t mind pushing herself more to improve each and every day.

“Ever since my teenage years, I never confined myself in particular strength. I learned how to be versatile and to never stay in my comfort zone,” Liliana Tanoesoedibjo voices. Graced with the flair of creativity, she always makes room for growth. She feels that the most toxic habit to own is indolent; a character that shows lack of effort.

It is only by self-drive and breaking out-of-the-box that a person can improve themself. And it is such a shame for someone to waste their talents only due to a reluctance to explore new things. These are the wisdom Liliana Tanoesoedibjo puts on herself and the people around her.

“Criticism is something that cannot be avoided. Other than running away from it, we better listen and improve what people point out as our flaws. There is always a silver lining even within the worst of criticisms. It is only by them we can learn to strengthen ourselves and overcome our weakness.”
