Reviving their 1980’s ‘Paradise City’ time through ‘Not in This Lifetime Tour’ Asia Pacific leg in Jakarta, Guns N’ Roses is slashing all the old rock stars stereotypes.

With interactive stage act and lists of melancholy, aesthetic lyrics songs that made sadness sounds glam in power ballad melody, Axl Rose, Saul ‘Slash’ Hudson, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler shows the world how lethal an unaggressive way of rocking that have a sharpshooter effect through their band, Guns N’ Roses.

At night, a sea of ‘petals and arsenal’ generations get into euphoric state when, now all the 50 something years old band members, Slash shredded his guitar, accompanied with Duff’s heavy bass, alongside new members Richard Fortus rhythmic guitar, Frank Ferrer’s hi-hat and Melissa Reese’s noisy keyboard sound that topped with Axl Rose’s five octave range voice sang It’s so easy while owning stage with their trademark accessories, reminiscing their golden time from “Appetite for Destruction” era.

The hype is understandable since three of their original members reunited for the first time and successfully revived the big dream that they built on 1985 in Los Angeles.  Through hits like Welcome to The Jungle, Patience and Civil War, the band reminds the world why they got “the most dangerous band in the world” nicknames back then.

At middle part of the concert, Guns N’ Roses give ‘bunch of roses’ to pay homage for both their passing relatives and rocky past. They also performed the classic Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, country Wichita Line Man by Glen Campbell or dreamscape gloomy grunge Black Hole Sun by the late Chris Cornell in Soundgarden.

The goose bump moment comes when the heavy B majored November Rain blared around GBK. The harmonious vocal with excellent guitar riff that framed perfectly with real drops of November rain, made these part remind crowds why the band deserved a spot in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and why the fans kept wearing the trademark shirt for decades.
