Angela and Valencia Tanoesoedibjo, the first and second-born daughters of MNC Group President Commissioner Mr. Hary Tanoesoedibjo, sat down and talked with HighEnd on life, their business ventures and not to forget, fashion.

ANGELA TANOESOEDIBJO X BALMAIN

What keeps you busy every day?
To simply put it; my kids and family, work, and these days, exercise. I wake up in the morning and manage to squeeze in some time to exercise before going to work until, usually, late at night. My position as Managing Director of GlobalTV and Director of MNC Group rarely allows me to sit in my own office since I have back-to-back meetings almost every day, with different topics each time, since I have to take care of different departments and divisions.

What do you usually do for sister-bonding time?
We both have so little time, but every time we meet, especially when our other siblings are present, we always share stories from A to Z. Sometimes, it’s as simple as catching up over coffee.

What kinds of fashion items that fill up your wardrobe the most?
I love my jeans, black tops, and shoes.

How do you relate to Balmain in terms of style?
It’s edginess and how it’s not too feminine. Balmain’s casual items are so me, especially their jeans and black tops.

VALENCIA TANOESOEDIBJO X SAINT LAURENT

Please tell us about your current (and upcoming) projects.
I’m at the moment the Chief Operating Officer of an upcoming e-commerce slash content platform www.thefthing.com, Marketing Director of Clemence Ellery and also Chief Operating Officer of MNC Studios International. These positions make me pretty busy, but because of them I deal with creativity and different types of people every day. That really excites and inspires me.

Can you describe your style/wardrobe in 3 words?
Edgy, classy with a twist.

What are the similarities and differences between you and your sister, fashion wise?
In my opinion, she’s more feminine in her fashion choices while I tend to be more experimental.

How is Saint Laurent relevant to your style?

Saint Laurent just gives off these rocker-chic vibes and it's so edgy. The brand makes me feel powerful and confident in it.
