Pharrell Williams recently hosted a party to celebrate his first capsule collection with Chanel.
Titled “CHANEL PHARRELL”, the 45-year old musician released a number of colorful outfits along with his own version of Chanel monograms. The collection is described as “unisex”; fostering both the comfort of streetwear and elegance from the French house. The pieces range from t-shirts, hoodies, caps, bags, to accessories dominated in primary colors.
Back in 2016, the American songwriter collaborated with Chanel and adidas in creating $1,000 trainers. He also has worked with several high-fashion brands before, including Moncler and Louis Vuitton. This time, the collection will be available in selected store worldwide starting from 4 April 2019 for Spring/Summer 2019 season.
He launched the collection at Chanel flagship store in Seoul before heading to Daelim Warehouse to host a party with a number of South Korean stars and Chanel brand ambassadors. Jennie Kim and DJ slash model Park Soo Joo opened the show before Pharrell himself took over the stage.
Dozens of celebrities are spotted on the star-studded party, including actors Lee Dong Wook, Park Seo Joon, and Lee Je Hoon. Hip-hop stars in the likes of Jay Park, Bobby of iKon, Zion.T, and Colde also joined the show. In the girls squad, Yoona, Irene Kim, Jang Yoon Ju, and Claudia Kim were spotted.
