His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen is a monarch who often flashes a glimpse of his life through his personal social media account. He is one of five sons born to Brunei’s ruler, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. He is a grounded man who is also a polo player and exotic animal rescuer. He graduated from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Study where he earned a Master’s Degree in Arts. He is also now a lieutenant in the Brunei army and was graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

He is the son of the property king, Raj Kumar, the 8th richest man in Singapore, whose company is the figure behind the acquisitions of hundreds of retail units in shopping malls such as Far East Plaza, Lucky Plaza and Peninsula Plaza. Aspire to follow his father’s footsteps as the ‘king of strata retail’; he founded his own company called RB Capital in 2006. His and his father’s current net worth is said to be approximately in $2.8 billion dollars or IDR 38 trillion.

His family is the sole distribution of the Toyota automotive in Saudi Arabia, where he reigns as the Vice Chairman. At age 29, he is one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the world today. He also leads a charity effort for education, social, culture and economic development in the country called Community Jameel.

This heir to the department store empire Central Group from Thailand is an upcoming riser to the fashion business industry. He is a part of the Chirathivat Family who owns Thailand’s most successful retail group. He is the founder of a luxury concept store called Siwilai, stocking brands such as The Row, Thom Browne and Thakoon. He also comprises a cozy restaurant called Siwilai Rocket Coffeebar next to the famous Central Embassy shopping center in Bangkok.

He is currently trying to prove himself worthy of his wealth by investing in real estate businesses and tech start-up ventures.
