Decorating our homes for Christmas may feel pressuring for some. Sure, we all want our home to look pretty and all, but there are a lot of things we need consider as well.
For example, how about the leftovers? How do we clean up the mess afterwards? Is the décor children-friendly? Or simply, we just don’t have much time to prepare the super sparkly Christmas open house décor.
Worry not because as Christmas is getting closer, we’ve got last minute décor ideas for maximum results. We are 100% sure these are doable because we’ve tried them ourselves, finger crossed.
#1 What’s in the box?
Nobody wants to see gift boxes scattered around the room. It’s time to take out your unused or decorative woven boxes to keep the gifts pretty in place. Woven boxes are not just highly functional; they also give a touch of understated beauty inside your room.
#2 Any tree is fine
You don’t always need a traditional Christmas tree. For outdoor festivity, you can utilize your tree with simple decorative elements such as bulbs and color-sprayed plastic leaves.
#3 Laundry Free Table Runner
Table runner tends to be the most vulnerable part of the décor, mostly when you have kids during dinner time. If you grow vines in your garden, simply take them and spread them on the table to create chic table garland. You can color spray them or combine them with other greeneries such as mini Christmas tree.
#4 Capsule Collection
We may have extra ornaments we don’t know what to do about. If you have some plastic toys, Christmas bulbs, or ceramics miniature, you can put them inside plastic capsule and place them on the corners of the room.
#5 Grandma’s Garage
We all have these ceramics, miniatures, chandelier, and glass displays we forget existing from the first place. Now is time to put them together and create unique color palette in your room. For example, you can try a simple white/silver palette like we did on the picture above.
