MTV's Video Music Awards (VMA) has been a benchmark for iconic pop music traditions from time to time. If you do not actually have time to know what's going on with our teenage kids or millennials' coworkers are up to, this annual event tells us what is trending (and practically, what will be) in pop music scene in just one evening.
There are lots of predictable winners of 2017 VMA that was held at The Forum, California, last night (27/8), including Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and their own host Katy Perry. Yes, they did win our attention from the stage. But how about the red carpet?
The glorious red carpet moment was owned not only by musicians and singers, but also actors and models. We cherish Stranger Things' 13-year old star Millie Bobby Brown's look in sheer black Rodarte dress. And oh, how about the swooning lilac dress of New Zealand singer Lorde? And the Atelier Versace's pretty pleats worn by Pitch Perfect's cast Hailee Steinfeld?
We are too busy paying attention to the details of their look as the show went on.
