The wait is finally over, as Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton collection is finally available for purchase at London pop-up store.
After first being presented at Paris’ Jardin du Palais-Royal back in June, Virgil Abloh’s debut collection for Louis Vuitton’s menswear has finally landed at a pop-up store. The one-off pop-up showcases some pristine white pieces as well as more colorful garments and streetwear jackets.
The 2,000 square feet pop-up store on Brunton Street is more than amazing. Stepping inside the store, the guests will be directed through the space on a temporary yellow brick road that pays homage to The Wizard of Oz. The ready-to-wear outfits, in classic Virgil Abloh style, are displayed inside a transparent box printed with LV monogram and a rainbow of colors.
Previously Idris Elba, Rami Malek, Rita Ora, and Frank Ocean were invited to cut the metaphorical ribbon on October 19. Most of the fashion items in the townhouse are available to buy until October 25, while the rest will be available for pre-order.
Aside from Abloh’s first collection for the fashion house, a selection of new leather styles will be presented, including LV’s latest Christopher backpack and the Monogram Soft Trunk, as well as the Utility Side Bag embossed monogrammed leather.
However, the pop-up is accessible by appointment only. The spot can be secured before closing via the ticketing.louisvuitton.com.
