Miss Indonesia 2017 Achintya Nilsen departed from Indonesia to China to undergo one the quarantine process of the most prestigious beauty pageants, Miss World 2017.

Attending the Miss World 2017 press conference in mid-October, Nilsen looks confident in her skin to foster the name of her nation for the upcoming Miss World 2017 inauguration night. "Every contestant is pretty and smart. I would rather find them as my motivators than as competitors," she told the press during the press-con. For the past 6 months, the 18-year old girl has developed several skills starting from public speaking, dancing, to make-up.

So far, her hard-work pays off well. Nilsen currently won the Best World Designer Award for the dress she wore during the World Fashion Designer event and fast-track top model. She is also listed as Top 30 World Top Model of Miss World 2017. On the other hand, the Bali-born woman also won her head-to-head challenge for her group. Carrying the pride of her blood, Nilsen presented Balinese dance for the audition, not long after she arrived in China.

The crowning night of Miss World 2017 will take place in Sanya City Arena, China on 18 November 2017. The winner will succeed Stephanie Del Valle, 20-year old Puerto Rican beauty.
