Lady Gaga wasn’t the only one who shone during the inaugural night of 91st Academy Awards. Dozens other stars also shone on and off the stage with their head-turning outfits at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles.
The Oscars has always been one of the most awaited galas held in the beginning of the year. Although the show rating dropped, the stars refused to lower the bar on the red carpet. Here is our best-dressed list of the evening:
A regular in the list of best-dressed men, Chadwick Boseman arrived with sequin-appliqued blazer paired with satin scarves. On the other hand, the winner of Best Actor in Leading Role, Rami Malek, stayed classy with his favorite bow tie.
For Lady Gaga, Angela Bassett, and Hannah Beachler (left to right), more is more. They appeared in gigantic ruffled dresses and elegant diamond accessories to stand out.
Meanwhile, Michelle Yeoh and Amy Adams showed no sign of aging as they both killed the sparkly silvery dresses from Elie Saab and Atelier Versace, respectively.
Mixing two or more material in gowns was an effective idea for the night.
