Fostering Shanghai regalia style at its best, VOTUM and Ghea brought the exquisite past and twenty-first century trend in their collection.

Welcoming the year of the pig, Galleries Lafayette is setting new standards in fashion by bringing the high fashion experience through Fashiontastic Lunar New Year trunk show. Bringing two top notch Indonesia fashion regals, VOTUM from Sebastian Gunawan and Ghea Indonesia from Ghea Panggabean, the trunk show features Chinese culture and eastern heritage. The collection includes chic cocktail dresses and oriental embellishment.

VOTUM showcased eight pieces that combine every pivotal element from Tudor era. They feature various fabrics such as tulle, damask, and crepe  combined with Tudor’s embroidery. They also featured earthy-toned pieces with a touch of gold that emphasize regal accent.

If VOTUM showed how modern eastern fashion look like, Ghea Indonesia brought back Chinese antique element in her Shanghai Express collections. Inspired by fine china ceramics, Ghea showed that there is no such thing as “no cheongsam, no fun”. Similar to VOTUM, Ghea featured pastel-colored collections with a touch of black in form of beautiful satin, chiffon, tulle cocktail dresses, and jumpsuit that tells the history of old and new Shanghai.

“As one of the biggest celebrations in Indonesia, Galleries Lafayette celebrate Lunar New Year 2019 with Votum and Ghea Indonesia new collections to offer wide selections of lunar wardrobe for our beloved customer,” said Arnolda Ratnawati Siddharta, Maketing Director of PT Panen Lestari Internusa.
