After a long selection process, Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) finally found their winners of JFW Series: Model Search 2019.

The open audition stage was held in several cities, including Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Medan, and Jakarta starting from early February to late March 2019. With the support from MAKE OVER, L’Oreal Professionnel, and UBS Gold, almost 800 participants entered the contest this year.

After the open audition process in selected regions, models entered the final stage of the contest to be the Face of JFW 2020, or the selected few that would appear on every campaign of this year’s Jakarta Fashion Week. This is also a crucial stage to steal the attention from regional and international scouters, since Jakarta Fashion Week also worked with Korea Model Association and Asia Model Festival.

Board of juries that consists of Zornia Harisantoso (Program And Editorial Director, Jakarta Fashion Week), Ai Syarif (Creative Advisor, Jakarta Fashion Week), Wita Juwita (Ambassador ,Jakarta Fashion Week), Panca Makmun (Senior Choreographer), Erwin Suganda (Creative Director, UBS Gold), and Stephanie Lie (Brand Manager, Make Over Indonesia) chose six finalists in each cities as their winners.

After selecting a total of 24 models to walk on JFW 2020’s runway, the juries then selected a total of 12 male and female models from 4 cities to compete to be the next Face of JFW. Asia Model Festival Organizing Chairman, Yang Eui Sik, chose 5 models to be the Face of Indonesia and soon will compete to be Face of Asia on Asia Model Festival stage.
