It’s time to recheck our credit card’s limit or we are going to miss all the biggest hypes in Indonesia in the rest of 2018.

In the second semester of 2018, local and global artists have been spotting Jakarta and Bandung as one of their landing grounds. While it seemed like yesterday since Celine Dion shook the scene with rumors about her show’s ticket prices, now we already have a long list of upcoming concerts ahead of us.

Celine Dion Live 2018 Tour in Jakarta

The Canadian diva flew for her special Asia-Pacific tour starting from June to August to promote her latest compilation album under the name “The Best So Far… 2018”. This commemorates her first visit to Asia-Pacific countries after a decade. Held in Sentul International Convention Center, the tickets are normally priced at 1,500,000-12,500,000 IDR.

The annual electro-pop festival under Ismaya group will return for three days, starting from 20-22 July 2018. Some of the most hyped musicians in the past years filled the line-up, including SZA, James Bay, Lorde, Alt-J, Chet Faker, to Eric Nam. The show is known to have attracted at least 50,000 guests in three days—making it one of the most anticipated summer jams in Indonesia.

Boyzone’s 25 Years Farewell Tour

It may be the last time for us to have a picture of them (pun intended). After releasing 21 singles in the Top 40 UK charts for the past 25 years, the Irish boy group finally waves us goodbye.  After signing a contract with Warner last year and planned to release their final album this year, Boyzone decided to go across the globe to promote their last musical campaign.

Guns n’ Roses – Not In This Lifetime Tour

From April 2016 to date, the tour has been named the fourth-highest-grossing-concert of all time. Having 157 shows in total and running for 1,5 years, this remarks the return of classic line-up (Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan) for the first time since 1993. When announced in late June 2018, it is said that the ticket prices will start from 450,000 IDR.

 Charlie Puth – Voicenotes

The American urban musician will hold his first ever show in Indonesia, this November. Named after his latest album “Voicenotes”, the tour will kick-start in North America and conclude in Asia. Held at International Convention and Exhibition (ICE) BSD, the show will be a major end-of-year party in 2018. The presale tickets for the young artist are already on sale starting from today (2 July).
