After a long wait, luxurious restaurant and bar Hakkasan finally open its door in the heart of Jakarta.

Located at Level 25 and 26 of Alila SCBD Jakarta, Hakkasan is bringing their signature Cantonese dish, unique ambience, and top-notch design to Jakarta’s culinary lovers. The place will be the twelfth installment of Hakkasan globally, and the first in Indonesia. Reservations will be ready starting from February 8th 2019.

For their Jakarta post, Hakkasan worked with GBRH Interior Design to create an ambience like no other in town. The space will reflect on the original Michelin-starred London restaurant in Hanway Place and Mayfair.

On the menu, Cantonese signature such as steamed red grouper with kaffir sauce, Musang king durian puff, and braised mutiara lobster will be their major delicacies. Certain European touch in form of stir-fry black pepper rib-eye beef with merlot and roasted silver cod with champagne and honey will complement for intimate dining experience.

Of course, the menu won’t be complete without extensive wine collection and signature cocktails. The Hakkatini will be their ace, which combines Japanese Nihon shu and Ketel One vodka and various fruity taste notes. Exclusively for their Jakartan patrons, the restaurant also presents Szechuan peppercorn shrub and aromatic bitters, Brem wine, Smoky Fuchow, and many others.

The restaurant is planning to cater a rooftop area with banquettes and semi-private VIP booths in near future. One must have seen it in their Las Vegas installment. The space will be the core of bar entertainment, completed with DJ performances and cinematic panorama of the city.
