Taking place at The Beverly Hilton, California, last night (7/1) Golden Globe Awards for TV and cinema works return not only with grace on the stage, but on the red carpet as well.


You can never go wrong with black. This year, the dress code is indexed in black, as a part of movement to support women for the discrepancy, gender bias, and harassment in the industry. Dozens of aces from the cinema and broadcasting industry joined the campaign looking sharp in black. There is no new black—when there is no need of changing the old ones.

The trends go to use of laces, tulles, and synthetic fuzz. The point is to keep the proportion on point without looking trying too hard. Low neckline as combined with shiny accessories stays as safe classics. And—oh, The 80s puff sleeves are back! For complementary colors, some celebrities escaped the safe-box of silvers and gold to more contemporary colors like orange, which looks great on Allison Williams.
