“The thread that gives soul, the fabric that gives life”

Above is the tagline of Lukamba Nduma Luri, a photo, video, and traditional East Sumbanese tenun exhibition lasting from 6 to 31 August 2017. The event is held in Plaza Indonesia in celebrating the 72th Independence Day of Indonesia, as conducted by Yayasan Dian Sastrowardoyo, Samsung Galaxy S8 I S8+, and Plaza Indonesia. Any profit from the event will be the benefits to restore the traditional houses of Prainatang, West Sumba, as a joint project with Waterhouse Project.

A number of influential figures, businesspeople, and stars joined the opening of exhibition on 8 August 2017, presenting pride towards indigenous fashion through their styles.
