From Bavaria, a gorgeous region of Deutschland, there’s a unique gastronomy culture with authentic and exquisite taste.

The statuesque architecture of the recently opened Bavarian Haus Bratwurst & Grill in Puncak, Bogor, is truly hard to miss. It is said to be the only restaurant in Indonesia that wholly resembles the Bavarian traditional village. It is also the largest man-made Bavarian compound in Asia. Not only does Bavarian Haus bring the atmosphere of Alpine culture, the restaurant also offers the renowned German culinary dishes of fresh meat and bratwurst sausages, together with other traditional delights.

Helmed by a head chef hailed from Germany, Bavarian Haus embraces the open-space concept. Customers can indulge in the crisp Puncak breeze and be entertained by the manufacturing process of the meat products in its open kitchen. The butchery is the only one in Asia that is honored with Fleischerhandwerk certificate from German National Butcher’s Association, which is a professional bar standard in the butchery industry. Menu wise, HighEnd suggests ordering the Grilled Platter with Different Sausages, BBQ Grill Bratwurst and Burger with Mushroom Cream Sauce. Desserts are highly recommended as well, with Schokoladenmousse and Beeren Crème as the best choices. Finally, wash them down with the authentic German beer König Ludwig Weissbier to be fully engaged in the Bavarian culinary experience.
