You are what you eat What you eat defines your age.

Everyone desires to look healthy and youthful. There are various ways to achieve it - be it beauty treatment, diet, or exercising. Among all, the core of healthy and youthful looking is presented on your lunch plate. A balanced and smart food choice, in combination with proper amount of sleep and workout, define how you look on the outside and how you feel in the inside.

Perhaps one already know the magic of foods like green tea as anti-ageing mojo. However, there are actually a lot, like a lot, of food choice that works like magic on maintaining the youthfulness of our skin and prevent aging signs. For an easy guide, we list up for you each of these foods in alphabetical order, from A to Z!


A - Avocado The antioxidant and sugars in avocado helps forming collagen, a protein bond that is works to eliminate wrinkles, heal scars, and reduce spots.

B - Blueberries Prima Donna of berries, blueberries contain more antioxidant than any other fruits.

C - Carrots Not many knows that vitamin A contained in carrots helps restoring and regenerating damaged collagen.

H - Hemp The seeds and oil of hemp are natural emollient that helps your skin retain moisture and reverse the effects of aging, almost like olive oil does.

I - Incaberry Just like blueberries, incaberries also have more antioxidant that almost any fruit in the world, where most of the antioxidants found in the seeds contain more fibre than any dried fruit.

J - Jujube The extracts of this exotic food are used in skin care products used to counteract wrinkles,moisture skin, and treat sunburn pain.

K - Kale Vitamin K, potassium and lutein contained in kale help maintaining healthy bones and vision - essentials to age gracefully.

N - Nuts Nuts like almond and hazelnuts contain fatty acids that improve the moisture of your skin and prevent inflammatory damage on it. Specifically, walnut is very effective in slowing degenerative symptoms.

O - Olive Oil The healthiest oil in the world - soaked in Omega-3 that improve blood circulation, leaving your skin blushing and supple.

P - Pomegranate Other than rich in polyphenols, pomegranate is the supermodel fruit for its capacity to preserve collagen, the subdermal connective tissue that leaves your skin flawless and healthy.

Q - Quinoa One of very few food choice that have complete protein requirements of human body that improve skin regeneration, firming, and muscle toning.

R - Red wine Red wine contains a potent antioxidant called resveratrol that prevents heart and brain degenerative diseases.
