In the 21st century, Muslimwear like hijabs and abayas rise through the seventh sky. Women Muslim clothing is no longer seen as something restricting, mostly for fashionistas all over the world. Labels, clothing line, even fashion show specifically held for religious wardrobes.


1. Dian Pelangi

Everybody knows her name.She is among the pioneers of first-class Muslimwear designers, both locally and internationally. Her distinctive features, as stated in her name, include rainbows, bright colors, tie-dyes, to traditional, dynamic patterns.

2. Hana Tajima

The UK-born designer is widely recognized for her exclusive collection with UNIQLO since 2015. Mostly gets her hand dirty with casual looks, she scrutinizes the slightest pleat for details.

3. Ayu Dyah Andari

A self-taught designer with no formal design background, Ayu Dyah's collection focuses on elegant, classic couture gowns.

4. Anniesa Hasibuan

Hasibuan gained worldwide acknowledgement for being the first Muslimwear designer to present her works at New York Fashion Week. Not long after that, the she shook the runway again by hiring immigrants and 2nd generation immigrants to model her couture pieces.

5. Diana Kotb

Ready-to-wear Australia-based fashion line offers a fresh statement to Muslim fashion scene - a Western-classic cut without losing its practicality.
