Everybody knows Dubai is the top destination for style-hoarders. However, not everyone knows where to go for an effective one-stop-shopping.
THE DUBAI MALL
Nearly all branded labels can be found in Dubai. Giant shopping centers can be found around the city including the world’s largest mall, The Dubai Mall. Souvenir shops, cosmetics, to conceptual fashion boutiques can be found there. Need a break? There are varieties of food and beverages joints waiting to be visited. Vogue Café is one of them. Opened in 2013 as part of the Condé Nast International Restaurants, it is the right place for a stylish bite or afternoon tea after shopping at the glamorous shoe store, Level Shoes, which surrounds the chic café.
Those with kids should not be worried as there are plenty of activities catered for the youngsters. Start with exploring the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, watching the outdoor fountain shows, and even observing the dinosaur fossil displayed in one hall of the enormous mall.
OUTLET VILLAGE
This city has its place for price-bargainers at the Outlet Village. Armani, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Sephora are a few of the brands that have outlet boutiques there. Although the collection may not be as wide-ranging as in American and European stores, the discounts you will find is just as attractive. Take some time at multi-brand stores, even if you have to dig through thousands of past seasons’ stocks. You might find Dries van Noten sandals or Proenza Schouler’s clutch with 80% price cut as our team did.
WAFI MALL
Just moments away from the airport, there is an older establishment called Wafi Mall. Under ancient Egyptian theme, the compound includes an underground souk and luxury Raffles Dubai hotel that can be an option for those who are on short transit.
