Dipandu oleh Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, dan Amy Schumer, Oscar 2022 dibuka dengan meriah oleh penampilan Beyonce dengan membawakan lagu “Be Alive” yang merupakan soundtrack dari film King Richard dan masuk menjadi salah satu nominasi Oscar untuk kategori Lagu Asli Terbaik.
