Hosting a year-end party at home sounds warm and nice! There are good laughs, good music, great intimacy, nice BBQs and canapes... And oh, where's the drink?

Often we missed out one of the most essential of party essentials. As the guest keep coming, we may need SOS party drinks that are easy to make, refreshing, and (extraordinarily) big in number so it can quench every guest's thirst.

These cocktails are by far the best, easiest idea to liven up the party. Also make sure to garnish them with lemon or lime, as well as serving them in a pitcher for easy indulgence!

MINT JULEP

This simple, palate-soothing drink is only a mixture of two-part Bourbon whiskey, one-part water (tip: try some infused water for more refreshing sensation), a sprinkle of sugar, and mint leaves. A simpler mojito, without losing its chill-ness.

MARGARITA AND SORBET OR MARSORBET... SORT OF.

Everyone knows this drink. With only two-part Tequila, one-part Contreau, and one-part of any kind of juice, you can authenticize the taste according to your party theme. For merrier taste, try to pour them over vanilla or fruity sorbet - voila!

HOT TODDY

For warmer, more intimate party, there is nothing better than this lukewarm drink. The old-fashioned drink consists of two part whiskey, some honey, lime, or even hot lemon tea. It's almost as good as sleeping safe and sound under warm blanket.

TEQUILA SUNRISE

This classic is a safe choice for poolside party for its fancy hues - which fortunately does not take much effort. All you need is two-part orange juice we can find in minimarket, one-part tequila, and a burst of grenadine syrup for the sunrise red hue.

CUBA LIBRE (OR, BASICALLY, EMERGENCY RUM & COKE)

Coke and rum are a couple made in heaven (even Ernest Hemingway himself, we believe, would agree). Cuba libre is the last-minute, emergency choice of cocktail that suits everyone's taste. To get the fancy name, make sure to garnish them with lime on ice - otherwise it would only be called rum & coke.
